FaQs
Do I need any experience?
Not at all. Padel and pickleball are two of the easiest racket sports to pick up, and most people are enjoying rallies within their first game.
Do you offer coaching?
Coaching is coming soon. Sign up to our mailing list and you'll be the first to hear when sessions are available.
How do I book a court?
All courts are booked through our booking app, and payment is taken in full when you book. Everyone playing needs to be named on the booking.
Do I need to be a member to book a court?
Absolutely not! Everyone is welcome at Evorra. Simply download our dedicated app, choose your preferred court and time, and book your game in just a few clicks. No membership required, no commitments, just book, turn up and play!
How long should I book a court for?
For padel, 90 minutes is the most popular choice and comfortably fits three sets, while an hour is usually enough for two. Pickleball games are quicker, so an hour gives you plenty of time for several games.
Do I need a team mate?
Not at all! Simply download our dedicated Evorra app to connect with other players who are looking for a game. Whether you're new to the sport or an experienced player, you can find others to play with, join matches and get involved at a level that suits you.
How many people can play?
Padel is played as doubles, so a court is booked for four players. Pickleball can be played as singles or doubles, so a court can be booked for two or four. If someone can’t make it, another player can take their place as long as the booking is updated with their name.
Can I book a corporate event or private group session?
Of course! Whether you're planning a corporate team-building day, a private celebration, a group outing or something a little different, we'd love to help.
We offer flexible options for group bookings, with the opportunity to include coaching, refreshments and tailored activities to suit your event.
Simply get in touch with our team to discuss your requirements, and we'll work with you to create an experience that suits your group and budget.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel 24 hours or more before your start time, you’ll receive the full amount back as booking credit. Cancellations made within 24 hours don’t normally receive credit, but if someone else rebooks and pays for the court, we’ll credit you 50% of your booking fee. All cancellations need to be made through the booking app. Corporate events, private hire, coaching and organised sessions have their own terms. You can find the full details in our Booking & Cancellation Policy.
What if I’m running late?
Your session will still finish at its booked time, so we’d recommend arriving a few minutes early to make the most of your court.
What should I wear?
Comfortable sportswear and clean, non-marking court shoes. Court shoes give you the best grip and support on the surface, as ordinary trainers can make slips more likely. Padel racket wrist straps must be worn during play.
Can I hire equipment?
Yes, padel rackets and pickleball paddles are available to hire at the venue.
Can I take food and drink onto court?
Water and soft drinks in closed, non-glass bottles are fine. Food, hot drinks, alcohol and glass aren’t allowed on court, and chewing gum isn’t allowed anywhere in the venue.
Are there toilets and changing facilities?
Yes, there are toilets, changing rooms and showers on site, as well as a private accessible toilet.
Can children play?
Juniors aged 10 and over are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children unless they’re taking part in an organised session.
Is the venue always staffed?
There may be times when no staff are on site. During these hours please follow the venue rules and safety notices, and in an emergency call 999.
Do you offer quieter or accessible sessions?
Yes, we’re planning dedicated sessions with no loud music and a calmer atmosphere for anyone who would find that more comfortable. Sign up to our mailing list to hear when the times are announced.
